OpportunityAs a Software Engineer Manager on the OIG team, you will manage the team that is responsible for designing and building Identity Governance product features — spanning the across different access governance personas. You will lead a team of elite engineers, grow the team, and drive impact and customer satisfaction. You will drive engineering best practices, productivity enhancement, and make our elite engineering team shine. You will also work collaboratively across engineering, product, and design to deliver features that are secure, scalable, and delightful to use.This is a rare opportunity to join a team where your leadership and management will directly shape how thousands of enterprises manage access governance at scale, where the work you ship will be seen and felt by real users every day.Job Duties And ResponsibilitiesEstablishing clear priorities, expectations, and accountability for individuals and teamCollaborate with product management to help define and refine product roadmapDriving the execution and delivery of product features with high quality product by working with cross-functional teams, System Architects, QA, Product and Documentation teamsProviding regular feedback, technical guidance, and mentoring to team membersFostering collaborative, engaging and inclusive team environmentsMaintaining and improving our culture by sourcing and hiring only the most qualified individuals with an eye towards diversity & inclusionRequired Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities8+ years of experience in developing enterprise cloud software development3+ years of hands-on technical management experienceExperience working with product & program managers to align on objectives, priorities, trade-offs and risk.Experience in handling support tickets, bug fixes & enhancement work in a large enterprise applicationExcellent communication and collaboration skills for technical discussions.Ability to work effectively with distributed teams and people of various backgroundsLead, recruit, mentor and retain engineers#LI-Hybrid #LI-M1(P10278_3512055)Below is the annual base salary range for candidates located in San Francisco Bay Area. Your actual base salary will depend on factors such as your skills, qualifications, experience, and work location. In addition, Okta offers equity (where applicable), bonus, and benefits, including health, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), flexible spending account, and paid leave (including PTO and parental leave) in accordance with our applicable plans and policies.
