Manager, R&D Project Management

This role leads research and development projects at Baxter, overseeing product lifecycle initiatives from concept through execution. The manager directs cross-functional teams, manages budgets and schedules, and ensures alignment with organizational goals while fostering innovation in connectivity products.

Responsibilities

• Lead core team performance, project schedules, budgets, and financial accountability
• Define project strategies, establish goals, and control scope with cross-functional stakeholders
• Identify and manage project risks proactively; develop mitigation and response strategies
• Facilitate ongoing communication across teams and management levels to ensure alignment
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and resolve conflicts toward mutually beneficial outcomes

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
• 10+ years product lifecycle experience; 5+ years project management in software or medical devices
• Experience leading multi-site projects and teams using SAFe or Agile frameworks preferred
• Strong leadership and communication skills across organizational levels
• PMP or Agile certification
• Technical project management expertise including scope, schedule, and budget oversight

Compensation: $128,000 - $176,000 base annually
