Multi-Unit Director of Operations is being sought to lead a market of restaurant locations, driving operational excellence, team development, and financial performance while championing the company's culture and brand. Leadership Understands and promotes the company's culture and brand image Provides General Managers and teams with the information and resources needed to succeed Partners with each GM and team to establish goals, priorities, and action plans/strategies Serves as a role model of the company's core values Makes sound decisions on hiring, promotion, and separations Communicates performance goals and standards clearly, linking them to company values and objectives Actively listens to team needs and concerns and responds quickly Maintains open communication with supervisor on successes and roadblocks Takes ownership of responsibilities and is accountable for results Builds strong relationships across the management team Implements operational best practices Builds support and commitment among others around company initiatives Operations Maintains required Health Department and Company standards at all times Ensures facilities, equipment, and buildings are properly maintained Ensures compliance with all company standards, procedures, and policies Ensures locations consistently deliver best in class guest service Acts as a role model for guest service, satisfaction, and recovery Monitors guest feedback and ensures complaints and needs are resolved promptly People Retention and Development Monitors staffing levels, onboarding, training, and succession planning Coaches and develops Managers and Team Members for current and future roles Analyzes own performance and sets self improvement goals Ensures equitable wage administration and documented disciplinary actions Balances scheduling with business needs and quality of life considerations Maintains consistent performance standards across all Team Members Builds teamwork and engagement through quality time with staff Responds promptly to Manager and Team Member needs and feedback Recognizes and rewards team performance regularly Drives retention of Managers and Team Members, outperforming industry turnover averages Fosters an atmosphere of inclusiveness, fairness, and mutual respect Monitors costs to stay within budget while maintaining quality and service standards Educates and assists managers in analyzing P&Ls and building cost improvement plans Manages G&A expenses and Capital Expenditures budget and process Establishes and implements cost improvement objectives Oversees inventory standards for accuracy and consistency Prepares realistic location budgets for COO approval Audits cash handling policies and procedures for compliance Demonstrates strong business acumen Community Maintains current knowledge of the industry and local community Partners with Marketing on sales building plans with a community focus Translates community involvement into sales and brand awareness Measures ROI on community partnerships Leads new restaurant openings to ensure successful launches What Makes You a Great Fit Minimum 5 years of experience as a General Manager in Casual Dining Minimum 3 years of experience in a Multi-Unit Leadership role Strong background in restaurant operations Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Strong business and financial acumen Ability to coach, motivate, and develop others Strong attention to detail and decision making ability Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills Ability to identify problems and develop workable solutions Excellent oral and written communication and negotiation skills Strong planning, organizational, and time management skills High level of interpersonal skills Dependable, flexible, and professional demeanor #J-18808-Ljbffr MissionHires
