Exciting Plastic Surgery Position Available in Sacramento, California

Our Organization is on the lookout for a Board Certified or Board Eligible Surgeon to become part of our dynamic team in Sacramento, CA. We are particularly interested in candidates with a comprehensive background in reconstructive surgery, including but not limited to cancer reconstruction, body contouring, gender-affirming top surgery, facial trauma, and outpatient burn care. A fellowship in microsurgery is preferred. The ideal applicant should be open to collaborating as a co-surgeon for DIEP flaps alongside one of our fellowship-trained microsurgeons. This role offers the chance to engage in cosmetic procedures in addition to reconstructive work, providing opportunities for supplementary income.
Key Responsibilities:- Become part of a supportive team of five surgeons at various stages in their careers.
- Participate in teaching and provide call coverage with rotating residents from UC Davis Plastic Surgery.
- Enjoy a salary structure that is not based on RVUs, allowing for greater autonomy in medical decision-making.
- Benefit from excellent practice support, including two physician assistants and dedicated care coordinators for breast cancer and gender-affirming surgeries.
- No hand call or specific hand experience is necessary.
- Manage a reasonable call schedule, approximately one week every six weeks, with some assistance from residents.

- Leverage a robust integrated referral network and maintain strong relationships with referring departments.
- Receive additional support from a network of over 50 plastic surgeons across Northern California for second opinions and guidance.

Qualifications:- Board Certification or Eligibility is required.
- Must be eligible for a California medical license or currently hold one.
