Responsibilities include the following: Greeting the customers and attentively understanding the issues a customer is facing with their RV and providing them with proper answers Explaining the customer issues in a detailed manner to the concerned mechanic Meet monthly sales targets by selling labor, parts, and services to customers Informing customers about potential cost savings and warranty protections Overseeing and managing the service departments scheduling and workflow Informing customers of changes in service or when their vehicle is ready to be picked up Properly assessing the RV unit and suggesting repairs and or services Helping the customer understand the cost implications of repair Writing external service repair orders Creating estimates Maintaining and creating work orders Undertaking responsibility for writing warranty repair orders Closing out completed work orders Following up on repair work Following up with customers in a polite and timely manner Act as a point of contact for shop foreman and the technicians to ensure repairs are approved Code claims to make sure technicians and service advisors are correctly compensated Ensure technicians clock in to work orders and bill the correct time for work Other duties as assigned Required Skills/Abilities: Valid Driver’s License, satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report with an insurable driving record Ability to drive sales Ability to drive, move and park recreational vehicles of all sizes Ability to work independently and as part of a team Required Education and Experience: High School diploma or equivalent Experience at an RV or automotive dealership environment a plus Desire to further education with RVDA provided by Byerly RV Benefits: Competitive Salary Ability to make commission Comprehensive benefits package 401(K) Savings plan Vacation/PTO 6 Paid Holidays Byerly RV is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace employer.
