About the Role

We're looking for a proactive, resourceful, and detail-oriented Community Manager to join our team at a pivotal moment in Assort's growth.

You'll be the heartbeat of our newest office in New York City! You'll be ensuring the space runs smoothly, delivering an outstanding experience for employees, candidates, and guests, and playing a key role in shaping our culture as we grow.

This is a dynamic, hands-on role. One day you might be restocking supplies and coordinating with vendors, the next you could be hosting an in-office event or guiding a new hire through their first day. You'll have significant ownership, move quickly, and see the impact of your work every single day. What You'll Do

• Run the space: Oversee daily office operations, manage supplies and vendors, handle mail and facilities issues, and keep the space stocked and welcoming.

• Foster culture & community: Plan and execute events, celebrations, and team-building activities that bring people together.

• Own space planning & workplace strategy: Manage seating and shared spaces today and partner with leadership on future growth and layout changes.

• Support onboarding & recruiting: Partner with the Talent team to coordinate interviews, monitor onsite schedules, and drive the new hire onboarding experience.

• Be the face of Assort's community: Manage visitor and candidate experience, greet guests warmly, and lead office tours. Be in office five days per week from at least 8 am - 6 pm, with the ability to stay later as needed.
