PT Clerk - Dairy

Giant Food Store AdminBorn in the DMV, Giant Food has proudly served our communities for over 90 years. From our first store on Georgia Avenue to becoming the #1 grocer in the Baltimore-Washington area, we've stayed rooted in what matters most-our people and our neighborhoods. Today, we operate more than 160 stores across D.C., Maryland, Virginia, and Delaware, continuing our mission to be the most trusted and loved local food retailer. At Giant, our purpose goes beyond the aisles. We actively partner with community organizations to enrich the lives of our neighbors and create meaningful impact where we live and work. When you join Giant, you become part of a culture built on three core commitments: Grow, Care, and Belong. We support your growth through tuition reimbursement, scholarships and grants, leadership development, career advancement opportunities, continuous learning, and access to financial resources like Market USA Credit Union. We care for our associates with comprehensive healthcare, life insurance, paid parental leave, wellness programs, a 401(k) plan with up to a 5% company match (eligible positions), paid time off, employee assistance programs, and wellbeing resources that support you both on and off the job. You'll belong in an inclusive environment supported by Business Resource Groups, recognition programs, community outreach initiatives, and volunteer opportunities that connect you to the communities we serve. Join our team and be part of a 90+ year legacy-because food makes us a grocery store, but our people make us GIANT.POSITION SUMMARYLove fast-paced work and leaving lasting impressions with every customer? In our stores, a positive attitude, teamwork and a passion for great service turn every shopping trip into an experience our customers won't forget. Our stock clerks know about all of our products and what aisle they belong in. They also restock and organize the shelves throughout the day. When an area needs tidying up, they are on it right away (they're experts in dairy, produce and grocery). This is just a general overview of their job duties. You may be asked to assist in other ways too, depending on the needs of your store.WHAT YOU WILL DOGrow Our PeopleObsess Over CustomersWin TogetherOperational ExcellenceDeliver friendly, helpful service by greeting customers, answering questions, and assisting with bagging as needed.
