Mediterraneo Bartender

Bartender Position

Mediterraneo, located at the picturesque Westlake Village Inn, is seeking a bartender who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service in a full-service restaurant environment. As a bartender, you will ensure that all guests have a memorable dining experience.

General Responsibilities:

• Greet and serve guests at the bar
• Pour drinks using standard pour specifications
• Handle cash and credit card transactions
• Clean and stock bar daily
• Record accurate tip out sheets daily
• May assist with cleaning of operational areas
• May assist staff in serving tables

Requirements:

• 2-3 years of experience as a bartender in a restaurant or upscale lounge environment
• Must have a valid California Food Handler's Card
• Must have thorough knowledge of alcoholic beverages, cocktail recipes, preparation methods, glassware, equipment, and service
• Must have current knowledge of legal aspects of alcoholic beverage service (TIPS Certified or ability to obtain certification)
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English proficiently
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and evenings

Fast-paced mobility for extended periods of time

Must be able to stand, stoop, bend, and lift items weighing up to 50 pounds repetitively during entire shift
