Warehouse Associate II

Responsibilities:

• Pick, stage, and deliver materials to support production and customer orders.
• Load, unload, move, and organize inventory throughout the warehouse.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Assist with shipping, receiving, and order fulfillment activities.
• Perform cycle counts and help maintain accurate inventory records.
• Verify incoming and outgoing materials for accuracy and quality.
• Store materials in designated warehouse locations.
• Utilize scanners, inventory systems, and shipping documents as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Support continuous improvement and warehouse organization initiatives.

Essential Skills:

• Previous warehouse, logistics, distribution, or material handling experience.
• Forklift operating experience (sit-down, stand-up, reach truck, or order picker experience preferred).
• Experience with inventory control, cycle counts, or shipping and receiving.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Reliability and strong attendance.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic computer skills and experience using warehouse systems.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience using RF scanners or warehouse management systems.
• Reach truck and order picker experience preferred.
• Experience working with inventory audits and cycle counts.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Manufacturing or production support experience is a plus.

Job Type & Location:

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Virginia Beach, VA.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
