Service Operations Specialist (Mandarin Speaker)

Key Responsibilities & Weight 1. Logistics, Inventory Optimization & Supply Chain Management (40%) Inventory & Data Alignment: Responsible for the daily maintenance of the North America inventory ledger and inbound/outbound registration; ensure complete alignment and consistency among physical stock, vendor data, and the SAP system. Stocktaking & Auditing: Conduct monthly and quarterly physical stock counts to fulfill inventory audit requirements and publish highly accurate inventory reports on schedule. Inventory Aging & Vendor Management: Periodically issue concise inventory aging reports and provide supportive promotional recommendations; interface with vendors to verify invoices and process warehouse logistics payments, ensuring smooth project execution and delivery. Order Fulfillment: Coordinate with commercial and sales teams to arrange precise warehouse dispatches; monitor the entire process from outbound shipping and logistics tracking to final proof of delivery. End-of-Life (EOL) Product Management: Lead specialized inventory clearance initiatives for previous-generation models; formulate phased liquidation strategies to achieve an 80% reduction in older model inventory by the end of the year, freeing up tied capital. Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP): Establish routine collaborative mechanisms with the sales team; jointly develop targeted incentives or product bundling schemes to accelerate the turnover of slow-moving items; dynamically optimize safety stock models for core products to prevent stockouts. 2. SUNMI Home Operations & Expansion (20%) Daily Operations & Merchandising: Manage the day-to-day local operations and maintenance of the Atlanta SUNMI Home experience center, ensuring a clean, organized, and highly professional environment; handle showroom demo unit setups, demo inventory tracking, display refreshes, and client visit preparations. Local Network Expansion: Partner with sales teams and headquarters colleagues to explore potential North American clients and advance the grand opening, event support, and local implementation of new SUNMI Home locations. Ecosystem Networking: Organize and coordinate networking and exchange events across various North American SUNMI Home locations (including SUNMI Corners and Spaces) to cultivate local industry relationships, pushing toward and maintaining a regional milestone scale of 12 locations. 3. Marketing Campaigns & Industry Event Coordination (20%) End-to-End Event Delivery (Event TPM): Take charge of the comprehensive planning, registration, on-site setup, staffing, and live execution of major North American industry exhibitions, ensuring agile project delivery and maximized market impact. Integrated Marketing & Lead Conversion: Align with localized, grassroots marketing strategies to build marketing databases; generate promotional content and creative assets for campaigns; drive brand awareness, lead conversion, and follower growth through channels like LinkedIn and Email marketing. 4. Local Commercial Operations & Order Fulfillment Management (15%) End-to-End Order Management: Provide operational support for the North America region; lead the full-lifecycle execution and management of Purchase Orders (POs) from channels as well as small and medium-sized clients. This covers order entry, invoicing, payment follow-ups, and delivery coordination to guarantee timely and accurate fulfillment. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with local sales teams, clients, headquarters commercial operations, and finance teams to drive an efficient, closed-loop order-to-delivery process. Exception Resolution: Proactively identify and resolve operational bottlenecks and anomalies during order execution (e.g., shipping delays, billing discrepancies) to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency. Process Optimization: Refine order management workflows and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to enhance the standardization and control of regional commercial operations. Office Environment Maintenance: Procure office supplies and daily drinking water; manage workspace organization and cleanliness; handle routine communications with property management regarding HVAC, repairs, and facilities maintenance. On-site IT Support: Collaborate with the headquarters IT department to oversee local networks, office hardware assets, and PC equipment maintenance. Onboarding & Offboarding Support: Coordinate administrative onboarding and offboarding workflows according to headquarters compliance standards, ensuring structured handovers of equipment and office resources. Routine Workflow Optimization: Establish and continuously streamline administrative processes, including incoming/outgoing mail and parcel handling, business card printing, announcement broadcasts, and attendance record management, to boost operational efficiency. Qualifications Industry Background: Bachelor’s degree or above; a cross-functional background combining local supply chain and commercial operations within the smart hardware or consumer electronics industries is highly preferred. Hard Skills: Proficient in using SAP systems and basic inventory management tools; advanced proficiency in Excel (complex formulas, data dashboards); strong data sensitivity and solid foundational knowledge of financial reconciliation. Soft Skills: Demonstrates extreme attention to detail and a high sense of accountability, with the ability to maintain meticulous accuracy across complex inventory and financial tracking. Excellent multi-tasking and stress-management capabilities; able to gracefully orchestrate concurrent, fast-moving projects spanning supply chain, local commercial operations, and live event logistics. Outstanding cross-team communication and driving skills, with the ability to seamlessly interface with local sales teams, overseas clients, and remote headquarters departments.
