Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Full-Time | Onsite | Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | 12-Hour Shifts | 36 Hours Weekly Guaranteed | Every Other Weekend Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical/Surgical unit serving adult and geriatric populations
• Manage a patient ratio of up to 6:1 or 7:1 across a 22-bed unit
• Utilize telemetry equipment and document accurately within the MEDITECH EHR system
• Float as a second nurse to Telemetry and the Emergency Department as needed
• Assist with common diagnoses and treatments including surgical cases, peritoneal dialysis exchanges, catheter/line placement, and psychiatric care
• Adhere to scheduling requirements to meet unit staffing needs

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license with a minimum Associate's degree in Nursing
• Minimum of 2 years of Medical/Surgical nursing experience
• Current BLS and NIH Stroke Scale certifications
• Ability to float to Telemetry and Emergency Department as a second nurse
• Must meet travel eligibility requirements (60 miles or greater from facility)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with MEDITECH electronic health record system
• Background working in a Joint Commission Accredited facility
• Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and related equipment
