Travel Nursing Job Details Location: Akron, Ohio (Zip: 44304) – Ohio nursing jobs Facility: Level I Trauma Center, 74-bed Emergency Department Assignment Duration: 9 weeks (Start: 09/14/2025 – End: 11/15/2025) Shift: 12 Hour Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) Hours per Week: 36 Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 1:4 On-Call: Not Required Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1910 - $1960 ER RN Qualifications Graduate of an accredited nursing program Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Nursys verification required) BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke certifications (current and required) Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room RN experience Recent EPIC EMR experience within the past year (must be listed on resume) Proficient in venipuncture and IV starts Ability to float to other hospital units as needed Black scrubs required for all shifts Valid Driver's License or State ID required for submission Completion of onboarding exams and health screenings required Maximum 7 days of requested time off (RTO) at submission Key Responsibilities for Emergency Room Registered Nurse Deliver high-quality emergency nursing care in a fast-paced Level I Trauma Center Perform venipuncture and IV starts with clinical proficiency Utilize EPIC EMR for accurate patient documentation and management Respond rapidly to trauma and critical care situations Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes Float to other units as needed to support hospital operations Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards Ready to take your ER nursing career to the next level?
