What You'll Do as an Entry-level Packer:
- You will play a vital role in ensuring that printing ribbons are finished and packaged efficiently.
- Manually finish printing ribbons at various stations, including slitting & splicing, attaching take-up cores, banding & packaging, and cartoning/boxing.
- Rotate between stations throughout your shift to ensure smooth operations.
- Identify areas for improvement in productivity and cost reduction.
- Foster positive communication and collaboration within your work area.
- Operate production machinery and perform duties associated with the Machine Operator role (as needed).
Skills and Experience
Work Experience The Preferred Candidate Might:
- Have previous packaging or assembly experience
- Have a strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
- Need to frequently stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, reach, or repetitively carry loads of up to 35 lbs.
