Switchboard Operator

Responsibilities:
- Greets and directs visitors in a neat and tidy reception area
- Assist residents by providing location information relating to activities, religious services, office locations, etc.
- Maintains an awareness of residents in lobby area who may be confused & attempt to wander and alert nursing of potential incidents similarly
- Informs appropriate department of deliveries to front desk
- Connects incoming calls with person or office desired, paging if necessary, in accordance with outlined procedure. Takes and relays messages if party is unavailable
- Assists with scheduling and transporting residents to and from beauty shop appointments
- 1 year experience in switchboard operation
- High school diploma or equivalent
