Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Current certification or licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
• Experience working in a school or pediatric setting, or in healthcare supporting children’s speech and language needs
• Knowledge of IEP implementation and data collection preferred
• Strong communication and organization skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
• Compassionate, patient, and eager to encourage student progress

Responsibilities:

• Assist licensed SLPs in delivering therapy sessions and implementing individualized treatment plans for students
• Support group and one-on-one interventions to foster communication and language development
• Collect data on student progress and maintain accurate documentation
• Prepare therapy materials and activities tailored to students’ goals
• Participate in meetings with interdisciplinary educational teams and contribute insights on student progress
• Engage with families and teachers to help integrate speech-language strategies across school environments
