Independent Evaluations for Orthopedic Surgery
Position Overview:
- This is a 1099 role requiring a minimum commitment of 8 hours per month .
- Opportunity to work up to 3 full days each week , with an earning potential of up to $1 million annually .
- Enjoy a high degree of flexibility by designing your own schedule .
- Your primary responsibility will be to assess the level of patient disability for insurance companies, focusing mainly on worker's compensation cases .
- Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery .
- No history of direct malpractice settlements or issues with individual licensure.
- Experience with Independent Medical Evaluations (IME) is not required.
- A minimum commitment of 3 months is expected.
- No malpractice insurance is necessary.
- Engagement in outside work is allowed.
- All five boroughs of New York City : Manhattan, Brooklyn, Bronx, Staten Island, and Queens.
- Regions including Long Island , Suffolk County , Rockland County , Orange County , and Westchester County .
- Please note that remote work is not an option .
