Machine OperatorEl Paso, TXThe Machine Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient setup, operation, monitoring, and changeover of production equipment to ensure products are manufactured in accordance with established quality, safety, and productivity standards. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to troubleshoot equipment while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Set up, operate, monitor, and maintain production equipment to ensure efficient and consistent manufacturing operations.Perform equipment changeovers and adjustments to support production requirements while minimizing downtime.Monitor production processes and make necessary machine adjustments to maintain product quality and process stability.Perform routine inspections, process checks, and preventive maintenance activities, documenting all required production and quality records.Protect, maintain, and properly store production tooling and equipment during setup, operation, and changeovers.Follow daily production schedules and work collaboratively to meet established production goals.Assist with packaging, material handling, and other production support activities as required.Identify product, process, or equipment issues and promptly report nonconformities to supervision.Troubleshoot operational problems and recommend corrective actions to improve safety, quality, and productivity.Maintain accurate production, quality, maintenance, and inspection documentation.Ensure all workplace accidents, injuries, equipment malfunctions, and safety concerns are reported immediately.Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas in accordance with 5S and housekeeping standards.Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.Qualifications:Experience:One (1) to two (2) years of manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred.Experience operating automated production equipment in a manufacturing environment is highly desirable.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and machine operation.Mechanical aptitude with the ability to identify and resolve equipment issues.Ability to read and follow work instructions, process documentation, and production specifications.Knowledge of quality systems, process controls, and statistical process control (SPC) principles.Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies and quality standards.Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.Effective verbal and written communication skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.Basic computer proficiency and accurate documentation skills.Basic math, reading, and inventory control abilities.Education:High School Diploma or General Educational Development (GED) required.Technical or vocational training in manufacturing or industrial operations is preferred.Physical Requirements:Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the work shift.Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials weighing up to 50 pounds.Frequent bending, reaching, twisting, pushing, pulling, and repetitive hand movements.Sufficient strength, coordination, and endurance to safely perform all essential job functions.Safety and Quality Expectations:Strictly comply with all company safety policies, procedures, and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements.Follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and safe machine operating practices.Maintain compliance with all applicable quality standards and production requirements.Promote a culture of continuous improvement, teamwork, accountability, and operational excellence.Demonstrate professionalism, reliability, and a commitment to producing high-quality work.Preferred Competencies:Mechanical aptitude and technical troubleshootingAttention to detailQuality-focused mindsetTime management and organizationAdaptability in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentTeam collaborationInitiative and accountabilityContinuous improvement mindsetBenefits:Don't miss this chance to enhance your experience in a production environment while enjoying competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package.Weekly pay$5 prescription drugs$5 doctor's visit copaysFree teledoctor serviceFree counseling servicesLife insurance includedVision insurance includedDental insurance includedVacation and holiday payScholarship Opportunities401(k) retirement planFree legal servicesOur unbeatable employee discount programApply now so we can hold a spot for you.
