As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a busy logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, help to deter security-related incidents, manage access points, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. This role offers the chance to stay active, support daily operations, and make a difference while working with an agile, reliable, and innovative team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or employees by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document security-related concerns according to site guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout warehouse, distribution, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor access when required, and report policy violations, damaged equipment, or operational concerns to the appropriate contact.
• Support loading dock and shipping/receiving area operations by observing truck traffic, trailer yard activity, and high-volume movement areas for security-related irregularities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
