Jr. Property Accounting Analyst (Lake Success, NY)

Position Summary We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Jr. Property Accounting Analyst to support our Finance, Accounts Receivable, and Accounts Payable functions. This role will take primary ownership of key financial platforms, including AvidXchange, Domicile, and ClickPay, ensuring workflows remain current, issues are resolved promptly, and reporting needs are met. This role will take primary ownership of key financial platforms, including AvidXchange, Domicile, and ClickPay, ensuring workflows remain current, issues are resolved promptly, and reporting needs are met. The ideal candidate will be comfortable providing hands‑on operational support, collaborating with property managers, and serving as a knowledgeable point of contact during platform implementations. The position will also support the broader Financial Analyst team with basic analysis and overflow assignments under the guidance of senior team members. Key Responsibilities Financial Systems and Workflow Management Serve as the day-to-day owner and primary point of contact for AvidXchange, Domicile, and ClickPay. Monitor system workflows and ensure transactions, approvals, and other assigned items are processed accurately and on time. Identify workflow issues, investigate their causes, and coordinate resolutions. Escalate technical or operational issues to internal stakeholders or platform providers when necessary. Maintain platform-related procedures, documentation, and user guidance. Recommend opportunities to improve processes, controls, and system utilization. Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable Support Provide hands‑on support to the AR and AP teams across payment, billing, approval, and reconciliation workflows. Research and resolve transaction discrepancies and processing issues. Assist with monitoring outstanding or exception items and follow up with the appropriate stakeholders. Run recurring and ad hoc reports from the financial platforms as requested. Help ensure financial information is complete, accurate, and available within required timelines. Implementation and Property Management Support Serve as a key contact for property managers during new platform implementations, property onboarding, and system transitions. Assist users with system navigation, workflow questions, and issue resolution. Coordinate with Finance, property management teams, vendors, and platform representatives to support successful implementations. Track implementation issues and action items through completion. Provide training and ongoing support to platform users as needed. Financial Analyst Support Assist the Financial Analyst team with basic reporting, reconciliations, data analysis, and other overflow assignments. Support month-end and periodic reporting activities as needed. Compile and organize financial information for review by senior team members. Perform additional finance‑related projects and responsibilities under the guidance of management. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. Experience in a junior financial analyst, financial analyst, accounting, property accounting, or similar role. Hands‑on experience with AvidXchange and ClickPay. Domicile is strongly preferred. Familiarity with accounts receivable and accounts payable processes. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the ability to work with financial reports and data. Experience supporting financial‑system implementations or user onboarding is a plus. Property management or real estate industry experience is preferred.
