Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A rapidly expanding mail order pharmacy in Scottsdale, AZ, seeks a detail-oriented pharmacist to provide critical checking and verifying services on a contract basis with potential for permanent placement. This role demands a dedicated professional able to maintain accuracy and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.
Position Details:
- Location: Scottsdale, AZ (commute vetting essential)
- Contract duration: 13 weeks, starting ASAP
- Shift options: Flexible 8 AM–4 PM and/or 10 AM–6 PM, with possible Saturday coverage
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately checking and verifying prescriptions to maintain compliance and patient safety
- Counting, dispensing, and labeling medications with precision
- Supervising pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth operations
- Maintaining a safe, clean workspace following Arizona Board of Pharmacy regulations
Preferred Qualifications:
- Arizona pharmacist license required
- Ability to efficiently complete 60-80 prescription checks per hour while standing throughout the shift
- Strong attention to detail combined with adaptability to changing demands
- Dependability, punctuality, and a strong sense of accountability
- Excellent multitasking, problem-solving, and time management skills
- Positive attitude with a friendly, collaborative communication style
