This position is exempt and 100% in-office. The location is 12844 State Highway 3W Ada, Oklahoma.****To learn more about Ada and why it is a great place to live, click on the** Town of Ada, Oklahoma**Basic Purpose:**Human Resources Management Specialists are assigned human resources duties managing the State of Oklahoma cloud-based software Workday. These duties include completing various human resources management activities and applying laws, rules, and standards related to personnel and human resources management. Responsibilities may include compensation, classification, recruiting, employee relations, personnel selection, onboarding, offboarding, employee benefits, time and leave, records keeping, training, and employee transactions.**Level Description:** **Level I:**Human Resource Management Specialist I is the entry-level position. Employees are responsible for completing various personnel management activities and tasks. This includes reviewing personnel actions, evaluating job applications, establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with others, and understanding and applying applicable rules, laws, and policies.**Level II:**Human Resource Management Specialist II is the career-level position. Employees are responsible for advanced personnel management activities and tasks and collaborate with team members on decisions concerning various human resources management activities. This includes establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with others, understanding and applying applicable rules, laws, and policies, and analyzing and interpreting these rules in various situations.**Level III:**Human Resources Management Specialist III is the specialist-level position. Employees are responsible for administering various personnel programs, activities, and tasks and making independent decisions. This includes establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with others, understanding and applying applicable rules, laws, and policies, analyzing and interpreting these rules in various situations, performing highly independent work, and providing training or mentoring to lower-level human resources management specialists.**Level IV:**Human Resources Management Specialist IV is the team lead level of this job family, where employees are assigned, team lead responsibilities in projects, programs, or a unit regularly and consistently. This includes responsibilities and performance of technical duties, such as technical supervision, coordinating staff and work assignments, reviewing work, ensuring the completion of assigned projects and tasks, and providing leadership. Employees are responsible for completing various personnel programs, activities, and tasks and are considered subject matter experts.
