Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable and professional Office Administrator for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Redmond, WA. This role is ideal for an early-career administrative professional with 1-2 years of office, clerical, reception, or administrative support experience who is looking for a stable opportunity with room to learn and grow.

The Office Administrator will support the daily operations of a busy professional office by assisting with phones, scheduling, visitors, mail, meetings, documents, data entry, and general office organization. This is a great fit for someone who enjoys being a trusted resource for others, takes pride in keeping an office running smoothly, and brings a positive, helpful attitude to work each day.

Key Responsibilities

- Answer incoming calls professionally, route calls, take accurate messages, and respond to general inquiries.
- Greet visitors, clients, vendors, and guests while providing friendly and professional front-office support.
- Assist with scheduling, calendar coordination, conference room reservations, meeting preparation, and meeting room setup or reset.
- Receive, sort, and distribute mail, packages, deliveries, outgoing correspondence, and shipments.
- Perform data entry, maintain spreadsheets and records, organize files, scan documents, copy materials, and support general document management.
- Monitor office and kitchen supplies, maintain organized common areas, support facility coordination, and assist with administrative projects as assigned.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay range: $20.00 to $26.00 per hour.
- Job type: Temp-to-hire.
- Location: Redmond, WA.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Support day-to-day office operations, including phones, visitors, mail, scheduling, filing, and supplies.
- Coordinate meetings, calendars, conference rooms, materials, refreshments, and meeting room organization.
- Provide administrative support to employees, executives, and leadership as requested.
- Maintain accurate records, documents, spreadsheets, contact lists, and internal office information.

- 1-2 years of administrative, office assistant, reception, clerical, or related professional experience preferred.
- Strong professional references required.
- Demonstrated stable employment history, reliability, punctuality, and dependability.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams.
- Comfortable answering and transferring multi-line phone calls.
- Previous scheduling and calendar management experience preferred.
- Strong data entry, computer, filing, scanning, copying, and document organization skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Professional, friendly demeanor when interacting with visitors, executives, employees, vendors, and clients.
- Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, adjust to changing needs, and follow through on assignments.
- Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality when handling business or employee information.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience supporting executives, leadership teams, or multiple departments in an office environment.
- Experience coordinating meetings, preparing materials, and supporting internal events or office activities.
- Familiarity with maintaining office supplies, shared spaces, conference rooms, and basic facility coordination.
- A strong interest in building a long-term administrative career in a professional office setting.
