Collaborative Therapies is seeking compassionate professionals to provide counseling, behavioral support, and mental health services within a school setting. We welcome candidates from a variety of counseling backgrounds who are passionate about helping students succeed academically, socially, emotionally, and behaviorally. This is an opportunity to work as part of a collaborative educational team dedicated to supporting student well-being and success.
Responsibilities
- Provide individual and small-group counseling to students.
- Support students experiencing academic, behavioral, emotional, or social challenges.
- Conduct crisis intervention and assist with behavioral support planning.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with school and state requirements.
- Participate in student support meetings, IEP/504 meetings, and multidisciplinary planning when appropriate.
- Connect families with community resources and outside support services as needed.
- Promote a positive school climate through prevention, education, and student wellness initiatives.
Qualifications
Candidates must hold one of the following:
- Florida Certified School Counselor (or eligible for certification)
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
- Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)
- Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT)
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience working in a school setting.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience supporting children and adolescents.
- Ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and school personnel.
