Urologist - Hourly Locum

Urology Physician Opportunity

Kaiser Permanente-Washington Permanente Medical Group is seeking (2) hourly locum Urology Physicians to join our Tacoma Medical Center team in Tacoma, WA. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of an integrated care delivery system that prioritizes evidence-based medicine, patient-centered care, and physician collaboration.

Position highlights include:

• A multi-disciplinary practice involving the full breadth of urology
• A team spirit of collaboration with an emphasis on continuous learning, education, quality improvement, and standardization of care and best practices
• A full multi-disciplinary team of surgeons, physician assistants, and robust support staff, including RNs and MAs
• Travel between sites may be required

Core components of this position include:

• General urology with a focus on the complete spectrum of urologic care
• Possible travel to other Kaiser Permanente clinics in the region (e.g. Olympia.)
• Fellowship expertise is supported, however, not required
• The ideal candidate will be interested in a comprehensive urology practice

Kaiser -Tacoma Medical Center is a multispecialty medical center. Lab, Radiology and Pharmacy on site. Office hours are 8am 5pm Monday through Friday with Urgent Care open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Compensation and benefits include:

• Hourly Rate: $244.65
• Employer Paid Malpractice & Tail Coverage

Qualifications include:

• Required: BE/BC by the American Board of Urology
• Preferred: Ideal candidate will be interested in a comprehensive urology practice
• Ability to obtain: Unrestricted Federal DEA
• Ability to obtain: WA State Medical License
