Commercial Superintendent - Charleston, SC

The Superintendent will lead commercial construction projects in the Charleston, SC market , overseeing day-to-day field operations from mobilization through project completion. Description

• Lead all onsite construction activities and field operations.
• Manage subcontractors, inspections, scheduling, and site logistics.
• Coordinate directly with Project Managers and design-build partners.
• Ensure projects meet schedule, quality, safety, and budget expectations.
• Run daily planning meetings and subcontractor coordination meetings.
• Maintain strong communication with owners, inspectors, and consultants.
• Enforce safety standards and maintain clean, organized job sites.

Profile

A successful Commercial Superintendent should have:

• 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction.
• Experience with ground-up and renovation commercial projects .
• Design-build experience is a strong plus.
• Strong understanding of site logistics, scheduling, and trade coordination.
• Hands-on leadership style with active site presence.
• Strong communication skills with owners, subs, and internal teams.
• Local to or able to work full-time in the Charleston, SC area .
