In this contract role, you’ll work in person, engaging directly with students, educators, and families to promote academic, behavioral, and social-emotional growth. The position runs from August 17, 2026, through May 27, 2027, and offers full-time hours (approximately 33.25 hours per week), ensuring you have the time to build meaningful relationships and make a substantial impact.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree (or equivalent) in educational psychology
• Completion of at least one year of internship under a credentialed school psychologist
• Valid Illinois Professional Educator License in School Psychology
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams

Responsibilities:

• Provide psychoeducational assessments to identify students’ learning and behavioral needs
• Develop intervention strategies and monitor student progress
• Consult with teachers, parents, and administrators on best practices and students’ needs
• Offer individual and group counseling as needed
• Support crisis intervention and prevention programs district-wide
• Complete required documentation and adhere to timelines
