Job Title Team Leader Job Description As a Team Lead you are responsible for supporting the overall safety of the area, quality of the products produced within the area, the effectiveness and efficiency of the area, as well as the timeliness of related deliverables. You will work alongside a cross‑functional team consisting of Team Leaders, an Area Manager, Manufacturing Engineers, Quality Engineers, and a Production Planner. This is a 1st shift role Your role: Inspects the product by conducting thorough quality checks according to specified instructions, ensuring adherence to stringent quality standards throughout the production process. Reports any disruptions or deviations in the production process to the Manufacturing group leader, facilitating swift resolution and minimizing operational disruptions. Adheres to the compliance of components, parts, and documents with quality specifications before advancing to subsequent stages of the process, ensuring product integrity and quality assurance. Proposes and implements improvements aimed at enhancing quality, productivity, and the overall work environment, contributing to continuous enhancement in operational efficiency. Operates and oversees all relevant machinery, tools, and equipment within the manufacturing group, executing standard and complex production tasks in strict accordance with instructions. Sets up and adjusts equipment in alignment with manufacturing and R&D specifications for pilot runs, ensuring accurate testing and validation of production processes. Monitors output quality diligently, promptly identifying and addressing any instances of faulty products, while maintaining meticulous records of daily production activities and pilot runs for performance analysis. Ensures effective communication and collaboration within the team, maintaining positive working relationships with supervisors and coworkers, and job training. Demonstrates proficiency in computer skills and interpreting technical drawings and schematics to facilitate the startup of new product generations, even in the absence of established process criteria and conditions. You’re the right fit if: You have a High School Diploma, Vocational training, or equivalent education. You have experience in manufacturing environments in areas such as welding, assembly, or mechanic. Having experience leading teams with up to 20 people is preferred. You’re a critical thinker who takes ownership, makes decisions with confidence, and thrives in a dynamic environment. The ability to work mandatory overtime is an essential function of this role. Overtime work can include Saturdays and 10‑hour shifts. Onsite roles require full‑time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple factors including job‑related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity. In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long‑term incentives, may be offered.
