Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with required IV certification to join our Emergency Department team. This position offers a unique opportunity to work on a 7 on, 7 off schedule from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm. The ideal candidate may also be cross-trained to support our Long-Term Care (LTC) side as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department.
• Administer IV medications as per protocol and guidelines.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the medical staff.
• Assist in coordinating patient care and collaborating with healthcare team members.
• Maintain accurate and thorough patient records.
• Participate in patient education and support initiatives.
• Be flexible to float to Long-Term Care as required.

Qualifications

• Current LPN licensure and IV certification required.
• Previous experience in an emergency department or similar setting is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated commitment to patient care and safety.

Schedule

This position requires a commitment to a 7 on, 7 off work schedule, with shifts from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm. Flexibility to support different units as needed is essential.
