The Delaney Agency is a growing independent insurance organization with a mission of Protecting Families. Developing Leaders.

We're seeking an organized, proactive, and resourceful Recruiting & Agency Operations Coordinator to help support our recruiting efforts, strengthen our operational systems, and contribute to the next phase of our growth.

Our organization is developing Delaney Ridge in Mars Hill, North Carolina, into a headquarters and leadership development center. This position offers the opportunity to help build the infrastructure supporting that vision.

What You'll Do

Recruiting & Candidate Coordination

• Manage incoming applications and maintain an organized recruiting pipeline.
• Communicate with candidates and coordinate interviews with agency leadership.
• Screen applicants against established qualification criteria.
• Follow up with candidates throughout the selection process.
• Coordinate recruiting events, group interviews, and onboarding activities.

Agency Operations

• Maintain accurate records and update recruiting and operational dashboards.
• Coordinate schedules, meetings, training sessions, and team communications.
• Support onboarding logistics for new agents and team members.
• Identify opportunities to improve workflows and reduce administrative bottlenecks.
• Help ensure important projects and commitments move forward.

Leadership & Event Support

• Assist with organizing agency training sessions and leadership meetings.
• Coordinate logistics for events at our current office and future Delaney Ridge headquarters.
• Support visiting leaders, speakers, and agency guests.
• Help create a professional, organized, and welcoming environment.

What We're Looking For

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Clear, professional written and verbal communication.
• Confidence communicating with applicants, team members, and leadership.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
• Comfort learning and using CRM systems, scheduling platforms, and Google Workspace.
• A proactive approach to solving problems and improving processes.
• Reliability, discretion, and personal accountability.
• Interest in professional development and contributing to a growing business.

Preferred experience:

• Recruiting coordination, administrative operations, or executive support.
• Applicant tracking systems or CRM software.
• GoHighLevel, Calendly, Manatal, or similar platforms.
• Event coordination, sales support, or customer service.

Insurance industry experience is welcome but not required .

Schedule & Location

This position will begin at approximately 20–25 hours per week , with scheduling coordinated around business needs.

The role will initially be based at our Asheville office at 12 Regent Park Blvd , with an anticipated transition to Delaney Ridge in Mars Hill, NC as headquarters operations develop.

Candidates must be able to work on-site at both locations.

Compensation

$22–$28 per hour , based on qualifications and experience.

Potential for increased hours and responsibilities as the position develops.
