Cashier

Overview Join to apply for the Cashier role at BSBC Zaxbys . The cashier is directly responsible for creating a great guest experience by consistently serving quality food in a timely manner. This includes receiving and stocking inventory, preparing, cooking, and assembling orders, keeping the kitchen clean and organized, and maintaining food safety and quality standards by following standard operating procedures. Base Pay Range $14.00/hr - $15.00/hr Responsibilities Assemble and package menu items to company standards. Extend a warm and friendly greeting to all guests. Explain menu and answer product questions for all guests. Enter guests orders accurately into the POS system. Accept payments from guests and make change correctly. Operate the cash register and be responsible for cash receipts. Present orders to guests, properly packaged and with all necessary accompaniment and utensils. Generate additional sales by suggesting additional menu items to the guest. Verify register at the beginning of the shift. Stock adequate supplies of paper goods, condiments, beverages, etc. for serving the guest. Prepare drinks and assist in prep items such as sauces, salads, produce, etc. Clean all guest areas. Inform management when any front‑of‑house equipment needs service or inventory is needed. Remove trash from waste receptacles. Answer telephone and take orders over the telephone. Benefits options for full‑time employees. Capabilities Requirement Work 9‑28 hours per week (Part‑Time). Must be 16 or older. Sit, stand, and walk continuously. Occasionally stoop, bend, crouch, or climb, including the use of ladders. Frequently lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds.Continuous use of hands and wrists for grasping and fine manipulation.Communicate proficiently through speech, reading, and writing.Maintain effective audio‑visual perception and judgement to observe and respond to the environment.Work in an environment that features hot and cold temperature variations and exposure to food allergens.
