TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Madison, Wisconsin, 53792!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Med/Surg Tele Float Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years of acute care experience within the last 3 years in Med/Surg units. License: Required RN license Certifications: BLS Must-Have: - Epic experience required - Experience working in different Med/Surg units (cardiac, spine, neuro) - Telemetry test passing Description: Evening/Night, 12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:30. Must be available for weekends and holidays as needed. The position involves floating across multiple departments and specialties. Requires caring for complex patient populations in medical and surgical general care units. Responsibilities include providing high-quality, evidence-based care. Demonstrates critical thinking skills to evaluate and assess patients. Recognizes and escalates complications as necessary. Administers appropriate nursing interventions. Commits to patient and family-centered nursing care. Partners with multidisciplinary teams of healthcare professionals. Hones interpersonal communication skills. Delegates tasks effectively as needed. Experience with basic arrhythmia is required. Must pass a telemetry exam prior to starting. Expected to float to multiple areas including neuro and oncology. A passing score of 80% or higher is required on the telemetry exam. Two attempts are allowed to pass the exam. If not passed after the second attempt, additional training may be required. Failure to pass within three attempts will result in cancellation of the assignment.
