Paramedic - Ambulance

Definition The paramedic is responsible for ensuring the day to day work of the department is completed. Washing the ambulances, checking equipment to ensure it is in good working order, filling out reports, keeping the building clean, carrying out work assignments to accommodate the patient case load which involves emergency calls, transfers, fire department calls, and stand by's. The Paramedic also ensures full compliance with hospital and departmental policies and procedures. Regulatory Requirements (If Applicable) Must possess certification by the NREMT as a (NREMT-P) Paramedic Must possess certification by the State of Oklahoma as a Paramedic Must possess a valid drivers license. Preferred Qualifications Within 90 days of hire date; the paramedic must complete and pass the CCMH Ambulance Training Academy, pass all departmental competencies, and be found competent by Shift Supervisor, Ambulance Supervisor, and Department Manager. #J-18808-Ljbffr
