Project Executive

Our client is a well established General Contractor that delivers complex, high-stakes projects that shape Atlanta’s skyline and communities—from aviation hubs and K-12 campuses to healthcare facilities and mixed-use developments. They are continually expanding their work in the ever growing Data Center space, and are in need of an experienced PX that has lead similar projects from start to finish. As Project Executive you will own client relationships, project outcomes, and team performance so owners trust us with their most important work. Your leadership directly determines whether we finish on time, on budget, and as the contractor they choose again.

Performance Objectives

• Win and execute construction-management assignments annually totaling $75M+ in contract value while maintaining 8%+ net margin.
• Deliver every assigned project with zero lost-time incidents, ≤2% cost overrun, and schedule variance under 5%.
• Build and retain a high-performing project team of 8–15 superintendents, PMs, and engineers; achieve 90%+ employee retention and client NPS above 70.
• Secure repeat and referral work equal to 40% of annual volume by conducting quarterly owner reviews and converting at least two new clients per year.
• Drive preconstruction accuracy so that GMP proposals close within 3% of final cost and value-engineering savings exceed 4% of original budget.

Environment & Resources

You report to the VP of Operations and sit on the executive leadership team. You will have a dedicated project staff, Procore, BIM 360, and a discretionary preconstruction budget. the clients’s 200+ person Atlanta-based organization gives you immediate access to estimators, safety professionals, and a deep bench of trade partners across aviation, education, healthcare, and government sectors.

Essential Qualifications

• Must have experience operating as a Project Executive or similar role leading Ground up Data Center Construction projects.
• 12+ years of construction-management experience with at least 5 years leading $50M+ CM-at-risk, design/build, or GC projects from pursuit through close-out. (not as a subcontractor)
• Proven record of delivering projects on schedule.
• Demonstrated ability to negotiate owner contracts, manage change orders, and resolve claims without litigation.
• OSHA 30, first-aid/CPR, and current knowledge of Georgia building codes and prevailing-wage requirements.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field; PE or CCM preferred.
