WE'RE HIRING! Position:
Driver / Material Handler (Full-Time Delivery Driver)

Location:
Greater Kelso/Longview Area

Pay:
$17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Performance evaluation after the first 90 days
Overtime opportunities available

Schedule:
Full-Time

Local deliveries using a 20' flatbed truck
No CDL required (truck does not require air brakes)

Our Client is a local manufacturing company in Cowlitz County. They specializes in designing, engineering, fabrication, machining, and technical support. Their commitment to quality and customer service has made them a trusted leader in the industry for more than 50 years.

What You'll Do:
As the newest Driver / Material Handler , you'll be responsible for:

Packaging materials for shipment
Making local deliveries using a 20' flatbed truck
Loading and unloading trucks
Operating a forklift
Performing cycle counts and processing materials
Reading blueprints
Troubleshooting material and delivery issues
Working safely while maintaining speed and accuracy

What You Need to Have: The Musts:

At least 1 year of delivery driving experience
At least 1 year of forklift experience
Must pass a DOT physical
Must pass a pre-employment drug screening
No CDL required
Coachable attitude with the ability to learn quickly
Ability to consistently lift 50 pounds
Reliable transportation

Preferred:

Some college or trade school education
Clean driving record
Previous experience loading and unloading materials
Experience with shipping software is a plus
