· Pay: $92,500.00-$138,819.00/annually

HIM Director – Health Information Technology Role:

· Full-time, permanent, direct hire opportunity
· Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-5p
· Oversee a total of 58 employees
· HIM Director – Health Information Technology provides leadership for all Health Information Management functions, including record processing, coding accuracy and timeliness, transcription, indexing, release of information, trauma registry, physician suspension process, and more
· Establishes and enforces HIM policies, ensuring efficient system procedures, and maintains strong communication with leadership and other staff members

HIM Director – Health Information Technology Requirements:

· Bachelor’s Degree in Health Information Science or related field
· 5+ years of medical coding experience
· 5+ years of management/supervisory experience
· Must be a Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT)
· Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) preferred
