Hyundai Santa Monica is seeking an experienced Used Car Technician to join our team. Candidates must have 2+ years of automotive technician experience, preferably in a dealership setting. Responsibilities

• Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to accurately diagnose mechanical and electrical malfunction of vehicles and perform repairs.
• Accurately document record of all repairs, services and maintenance performed on vehicles in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards.
• Collaborate with service team to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of repairs.
• Perform maintenance and repairs with efficiency and in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards.

Qualifications

• Required: At least 2 years of prior experience as an Automotive Used Car Technician is required.
• Required: Must have experience performing maintenance and repairs on all makes and models.
• Preferred: Smog License (Test and Repair) and ASE and manufacturer certifications are preferred. A/C certification is also a bonus.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.

Compensation

• The estimated hourly rate range for this position is $33.80 - $45.00.
