Job Description

Job Summary:

The Radiologic Technologist specializing in CT scans is responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. They operate advanced imaging equipment and ensure high-quality images are obtained for physicians' review.

Responsibilities:

• Operate CT imaging equipment following established protocols and safety standards.
• Prepare patients for imaging procedures, explaining processes and addressing concerns.
• Position patients accurately to acquire optimal diagnostic images.
• Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and ensure data integrity.
• Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and maintain exposure levels within permitted limits.
• Assist in quality control procedures to ensure consistency and clarity of images.

Qualifications:

• Hold current ARRT (RT[R]) credential in Radiography.
• Possess current ARRT (CT) credential.
• Maintain an unencumbered Oregon Radiologic Technology license.
• Obtain Healthcare Provider BLS certification.
• Demonstrate experience in a hospital environment preferred.
• Show excellent communication and patient care skills.
