What You Do Under general supervision, oversee the day‑to‑day activities of a field technician team and plan monthly technician routes. Analyze team performance and recommend changes to ensure profitability, safety, and client satisfaction. Maintain customer satisfaction while balancing financial goals and ensure safety compliance. How You Will Do It Supervise and provide leadership for assigned teams, ensuring developmental plans are in place. Lead the execution of assigned business, ensuring consistency of delivery systems and monitoring business plans. Coordinate the team’s work with sales to support all sales opportunities and link to installation opportunities. Raise potential market opportunities to appropriate branch or regional resources for strategic direction. Ensure that serviced account portfolios achieve growth, proper profit levels, and customer satisfaction. Recommend and support staffing requirements for the assigned business. Serve as a communication channel to share standard process strategies and results, enabling the vision. Implement plans to comply with and monitor standards for HVAC operations, audit effectiveness, and make performance‑improving changes. Ensure contractual obligations are completed and customer satisfaction is achieved. Drive service and installation operational review meetings, reviewing bids and estimates for accuracy. Effectively apply branch workforce and management, and deploy overall resources. Analyze operational processes and provide recommendations for improvements. Execute other managerial responsibilities, such as performance reviews and acquisitions consistent with established business strategy. Recruit, hire, and retain operational staff, preparing and delivering clear performance expectations, reviews, and development plans for direct reports, working with the appropriate matrix functional manager to ensure consistent coaching, including monthly one‑on‑ones, operational, and financial reviews. Work with team leaders to ensure proper workforce and skill levels for successful and profitable execution of the business. Perform other duties related to customer satisfaction, deployment of pivotal initiatives to teams, development and maintenance of team business plans, and account management of service customers. What We Look For Required Minimum of five years of progressive operational experience in HVAC services. Three years of experience in a management role responsible for productivity and development of others. Preferred Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business, or equivalent working experience. Johnson Controls Metasys experience. Eight years’ experience in an operational HVAC role with leadership responsibilities. Six Sigma Green Belt certification. HIRING SALARY RANGE: $90k – $130k.
