Respiratory Therapist Traveler

Description Location: UCHealth UCHlth Anschutz Inpt Pavilion, Aurora, Colorado Department: UCHlth Resource Office - Metro-Denver Work Schedule: Full Time, 72.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks) Shift: Nights Pay: $50.00 per hour plus travel package/stipend LOCAL Traveler contract options available for those who reside within 75 miles 13 week assignments available – extension options Minimum Requirements Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program. One year of experience Registered as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) ACLS BLS – BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date. BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire. Responsibilities Provides top of scope practice in direct patient care to provide various imaging and radiologic procedures Values a multidisciplinary team approach to achieve exceptional outcomes Models proficiency through precepting those new to imaging and/or UCHealth Welcomes new knowledge in a fast paced, innovative clinical environment Contributes to secure safety and quality at the point of care Practices in technologically complex clinical setting managing ventilator integration to adaptive pulmonary support and airway management throughout multiple levels of care.
