Nursing Infusion

Position Overview

The Nursing Infusion role is integral to delivering high-quality patient care within an infusion setting. The selected candidate will provide specialized nursing care for patients requiring infusion therapy and ensure a safe, compassionate environment for all patients.

Responsibilities

• Administer intravenous therapies and medication according to established protocols.
• Monitor patient responses and vital signs during infusion procedures.
• Educate patients and their families about infusion therapies, procedures, and potential side effects.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation related to infusion therapy.
• Adhere to infection control and safety protocols at all times.

Qualifications

• Experience in infusion nursing is required.
• Ambulatory EPIC experience is preferred.
• A valid nursing license is required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.
• Flexibility to work 3x12 or 4x10 shifts, including two weekends per month to maintain consistency with current staff schedules.

Work Schedule

The role offers flexibility in shifts, with the expectation of either 3x12 or 4x10 hour workweeks, and requires working two weekends each month.
