Elwood Staffing is hiring for Quality Assurance in Longview, TX! 1st Shift 6am-2pm and 2nd shift 2pm-10pm $17-7.50/hr

Quality Assurance Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $ 17.00 to $ 17.50 / hour
• Full Time work available
• Various shifts available (Monday through Friday)
• 1st Shift - Mon-Fri 6a-2p $17
• 2nd Shift - Mon-Fri 1:30p-9:30p $17.50
• When busy, 1st shift will come in as early as 4am and 2nd shift will stay until 12 Midnight
• You must be able to work these hours in order to be considered
• Inspect manufactured parts and finished products to ensure compliance with company quality standards and customer specifications
• Perform visual and dimensional inspections using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision equipment
• Document inspection results, defects, and non-conformance issues accurately in company systems and reports
• Conduct routine quality checks throughout the production process to identify and resolve issues quickly
• Work closely with production teams to improve quality, reduce defects, and maintain efficient workflow
• Follow safety procedures, quality policies, and ISO/manufacturing standards at all times
• Assist with audits, product testing, and corrective action processes when needed
• Maintain organized records and ensure all quality documentation is completed accurately and on time

Quality Assurance Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required
• 2+ years of manufacturing, production or assembly
• Working with some chemicals and using latex gloves
• Walking about 5-7 miles during the shift
• Frequent standing and walking
• Good hand dexterity and attention to detail
• Must pass a Basic Industrial Math test
• Must be able to pass a physical
• Jewelry is not allowed
• Fake or acrylic nails are not allowed
• Steel toe shoes required
• Applicant may be subject to a background check
• Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
