Mechanical Assembler (Manufacturing Laborer)

Location: Equipment & Assembly Facility – Pittsburgh, PA

  Why This Role Matters

This role supports the assembly, testing, reconditioning, and movement of equipment used in environmental protection systems. It’s a hands-on opportunity for someone looking to build skills in a manufacturing and industrial setting.

  What You’ll Be Doing

Support equipment assembly and reconditioning of standard products and small systemsAssist with pressure testing of assembled unitsCut, thread, assemble, and test carbon steel, stainless steel, and plastic pipe (1”–4”)Load, unload, and move materials using fork trucks, jib hoists, and overhead cranesAssist with receiving, material verification, and warehousing dutiesWeigh and load carbon into small systems as neededMaintain and prepare service equipment returned from customer sitesUse hand tools and small power tools safelyPerform general shop support duties to maintain a clean, safe work environment


This role includes varied, active work—no two days look the same.

✅  What We’re Looking For

0–2 years of general or industrial labor experienceHigh school diploma or GED preferredAbility to read basic instructions and drawingsComfortable working in a manufacturing or shop environmentWillingness to learn and follow safety proceduresReliable attendance and teamwork mindset

  Schedule

Monday–Friday: Day and afternoon shift rotation (details reviewed during interview)Overtime opportunities based on business needs

  Pay & Benefits

Starting at $22.06/hour with a structured wage progression program that provides opportunities for scheduled pay increases.
