Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Make an impact in a supportive school community by providing expert physical therapy services to students in a dynamic educational setting. This contract opportunity, situated near Lawrence, MA, offers the chance to work onsite one day per week for the 2026-2027 academic year.

Desired Qualifications:

• Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) in Massachusetts (active and in good standing)
• Previous experience working in a school-based setting, preferably with K-12 students
• Strong collaboration and communication skills with multidisciplinary educational teams
• Familiarity with IEPs and ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Capability to adapt interventions based on student needs and progress
• Willingness to secure any additional educational certifications required by Massachusetts

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver physical therapy services onsite to support student mobility, accessibility, and functional goals within the school environment
• Assess and document student needs, progress, and outcomes
• Work closely with teachers, staff, and families to integrate therapy strategies into everyday school routines
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of educational plans
• Maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding student documentation and licensure
