Medical Laboratory Scientist

Join our team as a Medical Laboratory Scientist, performing and reporting various analyses from multiple specimen sources to deliver high-quality patient care. Key responsibilities include: Managing specimen handling, confirmation of identification, and accessioning procedures. Recognizing discrepancies, resolving issues, and reporting problems appropriately. Maintaining instruments, troubleshooting, performing quality control, and replenishing supplies. Following established reporting and computer application procedures. Assisting in training new employees and participating in ongoing educational activities. Ensuring compliance with organizational policies and performing in a clinical environment. Qualifications and skills: Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field; Medical Technology/Medical Laboratory Science certification preferred. Experience in clinical laboratory settings and ability to complete competency exams. Strong attention to detail, efficiency, and proficiency with computer applications. Additional details: Work in a night shift environment with enhanced shift differential.
