AMRAAM Obsolescence Monitoring Execution Program Manager (PM)

Position Overview Senior Principal Engineer – Execution Program Manager (PM) for the AMRAAM Obsolescence Program. This is an on‑site role located in Tucson, Arizona. Key Responsibilities Lead a cross‑functional team to proactively monitor AMRAAM bill of materials (BOM) for obsolescence impacts across sustainment, production, development, and test equipment. Develop and present reporting materials to senior leadership on the state of obsolescence risks. Coordinate and align interactions, dependencies, and transactions between ASDS programs. Develop and execute program growth strategies. Understand and represent customer needs to leadership. Partner with program leaders to shape and capture future acquisitions. Build and maintain excellent relationships with customer counterparts. Actively manage risk, opportunity, cost, quality, and schedule performance. Travel domestically or internationally approximately once per year. Report weekly, monthly, and quarterly on AOP, EAC, and EVMS metrics and establish recovery plans when necessary. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics) and a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience (unless prohibited by local laws). Minimum of 4 years in IPT leadership or a comparable role. Earned Value Management System (EVMS) certification and Program Management certification equivalent to Raytheon PM Level6. Experience with hardware and test equipment development, integration, verification, validation, and maintenance within production, manufacturing, and product qualification environments. Demonstrated leadership experience collaborating with cross‑functional teams and internal/external customers. Experience with program management tools including EVMS, Integrated Master Plan (IMP), Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), and risk/opportunity management. Experience with budget, schedule, Estimate at Completion (EAC) processes and financial performance reporting for Test Systems Engineering or equivalent programs. Experience generating Basis of Estimates (BOE) for engineering proposals. Active, transferable Secret U.S. government‑issued security clearance required before start date. U.S. citizenship is required; only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance. Preferred Qualifications Experience managing a multi‑disciplinary team of IPT leads and engineers. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to present analytic and performance results to executive and functional leadership. Experience in large program execution. Experience with proposal capture and contract processes from receipt of RFP to contract close‑out. Experience with all functionalities of Automation Test Equipment/Unit Under Test (ATE/UUT). Program Management certification equivalent to Raytheon PM Level5. Benefits Competitive salary range: $132,400 – $251,600 USD, depending on experience. Medical, dental, and vision coverage.
