Senior Civil Engineer/Project Manager - Heavy Road Construction

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager with Heavy Road-Highway Construction and/or multi-use trail experience. This person will work under the supervision of a Georgia registered Professional Engineer, PE. Our ideal candidate will possess: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (MANDATORY) Over 5 years of experience managing road infrastructure projects Proficient in MS Project & Bluebeam/AutoCAD Ability to read and interpret construction documents and drawings Good interpersonal and written communication skills Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills Must be detail-oriented, organized and can meet stringent deadlines Passed the EIT exam is a big plus Duties: Plan all construction operations Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring deadlines are met Conduct regular site visits to inspect work progress and quality control Prepare subcontractor agreement for sub-contractors Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to budgetary guidelines Prepare Request for Information as needed Prepare pay applications/invoices Review and approved invoices from subcontractors and suppliers Locate and research public bid offering for potential projects that are ideal for the company Interpret drawings and technical documents in order to prepare estimates Complete bid take offs by estimating material, equipment and labor quantity needed to complete the proposed project Unit price cost analysis Negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers Maintain and update construction related materials prices database Coordinate to prepare bid proposal packages Prepare estimate summary for bids and complete bid documents Attend bid openings and review post bid information to assure scopes of work is correct and accurate. #J-18808-Ljbffr Veraj Data Mind Solutions
