Product Engineer - Electronics

Job Description

As a Product Engineer - Electronics for John Deere Reman - Springfield located in Springfield, Missouri, you will:

\n

\n
• Analyze project requirements and determines engineering specifications which must be fulfilled
\n
• Improve cost, quality and performance based on specialized knowledge of engineering tools and product knowledge
\n
• Compile and furnish necessary information (engineering decisions and reports of pertinent design analyses data)
\n
• Provide engineering support throughout the Reman business, including customer and dealer technical support
\n
• Lead analysis and provide root cause failure analysis for electronic products
\n
• Lead feasibility study on core/returned parts to understand and determine re- manufacturability
\n
• Create electronic remanufacturing product specifications
\n
• Mentor and give directions to electronics technicians in design and troubleshooting
\n

What Skills You Need

\n

\n

\n
• 3 or more years’ experience with engineering design and analysis of advanced electronic circuits
\n
• 3 or more years’ experience with test software design
\n
• 3 or more years’ experience utilizing analog and digital measurement equipment
\n

\n

\n

What Makes You Standout

\n

\n

\n
• Fluent in LabView or C++
\n
• Power BI Data visualization and data analytics experience
\n
• Bench experience repairing printed circuit board assemblies at the component level
\n

\n

\n

Education

\n

\n

\n
• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent work experience
\n

\n

\n
