A prominent gastroenterology practice led by physicians in Albany, New York, is on the lookout for a dedicated and patient-oriented Gastroenterologist to become part of its esteemed team. This role is situated within a top-tier, integrated gastroenterology network that has a significant presence in New York and New Jersey, recognized for its clinical excellence, physician leadership, and opportunities for long-term career advancement.
The organization champions physician independence while offering the necessary infrastructure, operational support, and scale to enable practitioners to deliver care at the highest standards. All physicians are board-certified in gastroenterology and hepatology, with several holding leadership positions at affiliated hospitals and earning national accolades for quality and outcomes.
Practice Overview:- Established practice featuring 20 Gastroenterologists and 19 Advanced Practice Providers
- Single, centralized facility located in Albany, NY
- On-site endoscopy center within the same building as clinic offices
- Comprehensive GI services, including Motility, IBD, Hepatology, and Advanced Endoscopy
- Advanced procedures such as POEM and endoscopic bariatrics
- Opportunities available for both General GI and Advanced Endoscopy
- Potential faculty appointment opportunities through Albany Medical Center
- Primarily an outpatient practice model with limited weekend call (3-4 weekends annually)
- Hospital coverage is required
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Gastroenterology
- Consideration for both General GI and Advanced Endoscopy-trained physicians
- Welcoming new graduates as well as seasoned professionals
- Strong dedication to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care
- Unrestricted New York medical license and DEA in good standing
- Early partnership track available (one year)
- Ownership and equity buy-in opportunities in the Ambulatory Surgery Center
