About the Position

Job Title

Registered Nurse – CVOR

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 4x10-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 5:00 PM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide skilled perioperative nursing care within a cardiovascular operating room (CVOR) setting
• Fulfill on-call requirements, including approximately 1 weekend per month and 1–2 weeknights per week
• Float to different units as needed based on assignment and patient care demands
• Collaborate with surgical and cardiovascular teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in hand (State license or Compact RN license required)
• BLS certification required
• PALS certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of CVOR experience (adult or pediatric)
• At least 1 completed travel assignment
• Must be available for on-call shifts including weekends and weeknights

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Proficiency across a broad range of CVOR skills and procedures
• Experience in both adult and pediatric cardiovascular OR environments
• Demonstrated ability to adapt and float to various units within a hospital system
