Certified Pharmacy TechnicianThe certified pharmacy technician performs supportive duties to assist registered pharmacists to accurately and safely dispense and distribute medications. Under the supervision of a registered pharmacist, certified technicians may perform sterile compounding, inventory control and ordering, restocking of automated cabinets, repackaging of medications, collection of medication histories, and other duties delegated to them.Experience Required2 year's preferredEducation RequirementsHigh School DiplomaAssociate's Degree PreferredLicense/Certification RequirementsRegistration as a pharmacy technician with the NJ Board of PharmacyCertification from a nationally recognized organization such as PTCBSpecial RequirementsBOP registration application within 10 days of hireCertification within 90 days of hireSalary Min ($)USD $19.00Salary Max ($)USD $27.50
